The holiday rental portal Holidu.ch looked at the major tourist destinations and made a simple calculation: the number of inhabitants in relation to the number of tourists.
The top 18 includes places known for overtourism like Dubrovnik, Venice, and Florence. But there are also some cities that would have been less likely to make the list.
