Swiss Revenue Management in New Hands


Christian Sigg has been responsible for Revenue Steering at Swiss for the past three years and is now responsible for Ground Operations. Tabea Hasler will take over her previous position from September 1, 2024. The Swiss national currently works as Head of Digital Ecosystem Steering & Innovation for the Lufthansa Group.

He will report to Heike Birlenbach, Chief Commercial Officer of Swiss, and Ulrich Lindner, Vice President Offer Steering & Ancillaries of the Lufthansa Group. In his new position, Hasler and his team will be responsible for revenue management and optimal control of the Swiss flights in Zurich and Geneva as well as the Edelweiss flights and will drive forward various revenue management issues within the group.

Hasler has a long-standing career within the Lufthansa Group. Since 2021, he has been the head of the Digital Sales unit. As Head of Digital Ecosystem Steering & Innovation, he played a key role in shaping the further development of the Lufthansa Group in the digital sector. He was responsible for the global strategy, projects and data-driven controlling of sales via the direct digital partner and the distribution channels of the Lufthansa Group airlines. Hasler has previously held various project management and data scientist roles since 2017 and worked in various areas. He was also able to gain valuable experience in the methods team of Lufthansa Group Revenue Management, SWISS Corporate Development and in IT.

Tabea Hasler recently acquired a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Software Development from ETH Zurich after completing a technical master’s degree in economics with a focus on statistics and big data methods at the University of Zurich in 2017.
