For portable devices, TDK promises double autonomy with solid-state batteries of 1,000 Wh/L


The Japanese company TDK has announced that it has developed a new material for its CeraCharge solid-state batteries, which achieve an energy density of 1,000 Wh/L: Approximately 100 times higher than the energy density of a typical TDK solid-state battery.

The technology was announced by the company especially for use in wearable devices such as smartwatches, wireless earphones or hearing aids.
