As usual, the Symbiosis will have four trim levels: Evolution, Techno, Alpine Spirit and the top-of-the-line Iconic. For the launch, the E-Tech 145 full-hybrid engine in Techno trim will premiere. To buy it, you will have to pay at least €34,900. Orders have just opened and deliveries will take place from September 2024.

According to Renault, Symbiosis is aimed at both families and companies. For families, the Symbioz (segment C) has some advantages in terms of modularity (sliding bench), space on board and trunk (up to 624 liters). And for businesses, it would have a “controlled” TCO (total cost of ownership). It is interesting to have these two cyclical markets in a press release. Approved consumption is 4.7 l/100 km with CO2 emissions of 105 g/km.

Some criticize Renault’s range of “metre SUVs”, which range from the Captur (4.24m) to the Espace (4.72m) in seven different models and silhouettes. This, in turn, allows you to choose the right size, but also the engine that suits you, electrified, hybrid, plug-in hybrid or purely 100% electric.

Speaking of hybrid, the Symbioz will arrive in 2025 with two mHEV versions (mild hybrid or micro hybrid) starting at €30,000. A little later in 2024, Renault will open the range downwards. The E-Tech 145 fully hybrid engine will then be available in the Evolution version. Flame Red is the standard color. In the illustration photo, it is the Iconic finish in “Mercury Blue” for €750.

Meanwhile, the entrance fee:

  • Techno version from 34,900 EUR per
  • Esprit Alpine version from €36,400
  • Iconic version from €37,900

To sum it up

Renault Symbioz is available to order. For launch, it is equipped with the E-Tech 145 full hybrid engine and starts at €34,900. The three high-end finishes will be joined by lower versions in the course of the year, and in 2025 by two basic mHEV engines.
